Mary Ruiz
Mary’s role as the Director of H-hour Training and Events includes planning and executing H-hour professional developments, retreats, and events. Staying behind the scenes is where she makes the difference. Mary also facilitates events and advise clients based on our five H-hour principles. This skill set comes from her ten years of serving in the Army and two combat tours. Today she looks to serve a variety of businesses, and not for profit entities looking to enhance workplace skills or culture.
Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a concentration in elementary education and her master’s degree in education from Stockton University. She also holds teaching certificates as a Special Education Teacher and Reading Specialist. Mary is also the 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year in Stafford Township School District, and the 2023-2024 VFW Teacher of the State, as well as a graduate of the Travis Manion Foundation Spartan Leadership Program, Cohort II.
In my free time Mary enjoys physical activities such as CrossFit, ultra-running, and coaching the Stafford Iguana and Fitness Club at a local school. She enjoys traveling to islands and deserts with her husband Vince, to reset and generate the next training or event plan. Mary has one son, Vincent V, and a stepdaughter Ava Lorraine.
