Breach the Beach was tough mentally and physically. It was a great experience working as a team and building on our mistakes. The reward afterward was having a runner’s high feeling, or a sense of euphoria shared with the closeness of everyone that participated. The feast at the end was great because we collectively sat back and reflected on what was accomplished.

Breach the Beach was a balance between mental and physical determination. Embracing the unknown was the mental battle, confronting the unknown was the physical battle. Those elements combined are what formed my Breach the Beach experience. Throughout the morning, I was placed into leadership positions, developed a plan, and then executed with the group. Vince and Mary guided our group into that dark place inside of our minds and coached us to be comfortable there. Breach the Beach empowered me to continue doing the things in personal and professional life that I believed I could.

I have reached a point in my life where I truly understand that taking care of myself is not a selfish act. On the contrary, a healthy mind, body and soul helps me be a better person, specifically, as a wife and mother. I have never been happier with who I am today, however I understand that there is always room for improvement and growth! In comes H-Hour. I needed the “Breach on the Beach” it challenged me both physically and mentally. Everyone needs to do a “Breach the Beach”. Everyone needs to stop, think, recalibrate, and sweat! What was most important for me was the dedication and love felt from Vince and Mary. It is evident that they are as committed to my success as I am. They are each the epitome of the consummate professional.
