Increase your Therapeutic Confidence and Accelerate Rapport with Your Clients From the Start

Each year Brooke and Vince continue to challenge their skills and design a relevant curriculum for their supervisees and students to accelerate their growth and professional development. In 2023, Secure Your Competence was delivered which is an interactive continuing education course led by Vincent Ruiz, Ed.D., LPC, and Brooke Sikorski, LCSW.

Less First Session Anxiety Leads to Rapport!

The H-hour experience sets conditions for participants to practice rapport building within a clinical format. Participants will practice organizational messaging and delivery techniques to help accelerate the therapeutic alliance. Social workers and professional counselors face demands unlike other industries because of the high emotional demands of client care. Throughout this course, the focus and intention turn to explore ourselves individually as clinicians and allow us to best learn about how we operate. This is to allow for the most effective treatment for our clients. This training will help participants to better establish rapport with clients to help decrease burnout and increase job satisfaction.
